Rosetta Iron Mine
42 Million+ Tons of Ore...Looking to be Mined!

Hello potential NEW OWNERS!
We are ACTIVELY LOOKING TO SELL
and we have a new appraisal valuing the iron ore in situ!
Highlights
-
Looking for a company to buy our family-owned Iron Ore Reserve, in the mining friendly state of Nevada.
-
A 2025 appraisal put the value for the iron ore reserve in Rosetta Iron Mine at upwards of $4.2 Billion US Dollars. (Current iron ore prices are listed at upwards of $105/ton and with the conservative estimate of 40 million tons of 49 - 65% grade iron ore. Rosetta Iron Mine is considered a significant and valuable iron deposit. Additionally, as an iron-rich skarn, as opposed to the typical banded-iron formation, it is potentially a polymetallic deposit. If other base metals, critical minerals, or precious metals were identified, it could significantly increase the value.)
-
Offered for sale at $160 million USD…a fraction of the $4.2 BILLION dollar assessed value of the Iron Reserve. Additionally, there is significant potential upside from additional mineral resources that has not yet been explored or assessed.
-
Designated by the Bureau of Mines as an important strategic World War II Iron Reserve. (This designation as a "Reserve", as opposed to a "Resource", is a big deal in the mining industry.)
-
Extensive exploration was done by the Bureau of Mines in 1942 and Utah Construction and US Steel (BHP) in 1961, of which we have a great deal of the information, including core sample reports. Over $2.5 million was spent for exploring deposits. We are told that it is the largest privately-owned iron deposit West of the Mississippi.
-
This data states that there are 27,500,000 proven tons of iron, and a minimum of 14,000,000 + indicated or possible.
-
1,500,000 tons are high-grade lump ore, most near the surface which would not require beneficiation and 40,500,000 tons medium grade (49-65%)
-
Numerous statements in all the documents suggested a much larger ore deposit indicated than they could confirm in the 1940's - 1960's. Statements have indicated the possibility of other minerals that they did not test for at the time.
-
Excerpt from a U.S. Geological Survey Report regarding the surface ore: Most of the surface ore is of high grade...the deposits are of sufficient size to be commercially important...with a depth of 50 feet the deposit on the hill at the south end of the area would probably yield approximately 1,500,000 tons of ore. The deposits are on low ground and can easily be approached.
-
Spitting distance from Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson City, the Tesla Plant and the Panasonic Manufacturing Plant.
-
Located in Dayton, Nevada, over the mountain from the infamous historic mining town of Virginia City (a Boomtown, famous for the 1859 discovery of the Comstock Load, the first major Silver Deposit Discovery in the United States).
